The world of finances or understanding what exactly credit repair services do, can often times be confusing.
Because of this we have put together our top list of questions and answers to help anyone that may have inquiries .
What Does Time Travel Credit Repair Do?
At Time Travel Credit Repair, we help educate and repair damaged credit. We know that in today’s tough economy, it can be very difficult to qualify for a mortgage, loan, or even a credit card. We specialize in helping our clients achieve their short-term and long-term financial goals. Seventy percent of credit reports contain information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unverifiable, misleading or obsolete. Our vast knowledge and experience in the laws related to credit repair allows us to get these negative items deleted from your credit reports.
There exist many laws, both State and Federal that not only protect you - the consumer, but also regulate the credit bureaus and the creditors that report to those credit bureaus. We will use our vast experience and expert knowledge to be your advocate in exercising your rights and correcting your credit reports with Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.
Once we receive your credit reports, Credit Repair Consultants will immediately begin the process of auditing your reports and preparing the investigations that we will be sending on your behalf to the credit bureaus. Typically, you should begin seeing positive results approximately 10 - 15 days after we initiate the investigation process.
Once the credit bureaus have processed the first round of these investigations, they will send you updated copies of your credit reports showing you the results of the investigations. Simply forward the updated reports to us and include all other correspondence you receive from them so that we may continue the process.
Whenever we receive your updated reports, we will document the progress, re-audit your reports and initiate the next round of investigations, thus gradually working through the entire list of negative inaccurate, unverifiable, outdated, misleading or obsolete items on your credit reports.
Our expert knowledge in how to prepare proper investigations that can pass the credit bureaus' screening process and will receive the attention necessary for our desired results is just one of the many competitive advantages we maintain at Time Travel Credit Repair.
Can I Restore My Own Credit?
Yes, you can. You can also represent yourself in a court of law but that doesn't mean it is necessarily a very good idea.
We offer experience, knowledge, time and professional help at very affordable rates for your convenience and benefit. It isn't a coincidence that the Federal Trade Commission receives more complaints against credit bureaus than any other type of business. Remember, the credit bureaus are primarily interested in protecting their profits. Investigating your challenge consumes these profits. The credit bureaus will do everything in their power to discourage consumers from making progress with their credit restoration.
Restoring your own credit is like repairing your own transmission or representing yourself in court: it is possible, but you must decide if you are willing to take the time and assume the risks of doing it yourself.
According to a recent report by ConsumerReports.org, a Nonprofit, Independent firm, "It isn't nearly as easy for consumers to correct errors as it is for the [credit] agencies to make them." Just as you are probably better at what you do than we would be, we are probably better at credit repair than you would be.
How Long Does The Process Take?
Everyone’s credit situation is completely different, so how long it takes for you to achieve your expected results depends on the number of derogatory credit items on your reports. We will do our part, auditing and creating disputes, usually within 48 hours from the date you sign up. Most of the wait-time after is usually spent waiting for the credit bureaus to respond.
How Much Will Credit Restoration Cost?
We have two easy pricing models. You can find more information on our pricing here.
How Much Will You Increase My Credit Score?
Many of our clients have seen an increase of 150 points or more; however, the actual amount will vary per customer. There are many factors that affect a credit score besides derogatory items. For example, the ability to pay down revolving debt, the type of credit you have, your length of credit history, even the number of inquiries on your credit file. It is especially important that no current accounts fall into a negative status.
What Do I Need To Get Started?
Once you have scheduled your initial consultation we will set you up with your very own private user portal.
This portal will guide you though the preliminary steps to get the process started. It will also be where you can view and monitor the progress of our services through out the entire restoration process.
We provide 100% transparency in our services. Striving to build long term relationships with our clients we provide an abundance of credit monitoring tools and financial management services to help you get ahead.
Can You Remove Public Records, Such As A Bankruptcy, Tax Lien, Or Foreclosure?
Yes. If the listing is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or unverifiable, we can remove it. The severity of bankruptcies, foreclosures, tax liens, etc. does not factor into their removal as much as you would believe. There are a number of elements, unrelated to severity, upon which such items can be successfully removed.
Will The Credit Bureaus Respond To All Disputes?
The credit bureaus are required by law to respond to all correspondence. It is not uncommon for credit bureaus to send letters stating they want more information, or that they will not re-verify an account. These types or responses are very common and customers should not be alarmed if they receive them. Customers must continue to send all correspondence they receive from the bureaus to us (via fax or mail) so that we can effectively monitor progress.
What Does Time Travel Credit Repair Do?
What Can I Do While You Are Restoring My Credit?
We ask that our customers do not apply for unnecessary lines of credit (credit cards, mortgages, etc.) while the process is taking place. We also need our clients to continue paying their bills on time, as it does nothing but help your credit score. We often tell our clients that we will work on the past; you should be working on the future.
What Do You Use My Personal Information For?
We use client information to evaluate your credit-standing. By having access to your credit report, we can monitor the progress we are making throughout the restoration process while also being able to focus on the areas that need more attention. We dispute to the credit bureaus on your behalf, so in order to know what to dispute, we need to know your credit background and credit history.
Do You Sell My Personal & Contact Information To 3rd Party Entities?
No, we go the extra step in making sure the privacy and confidentiality of each and every one of our clients is secure. We do not sell or share your personally identifiable information to other parties in any way, shape, or form. We offer our clients the comfort and peace of mind in knowing their personal information is safe at all times.
Can I Cancel My Service?
You may cancel your service at any time with in our agreement guide lines.
Do You Guarantee I Will Be Approved For A Loan?
We cannot guarantee that you will be approved for a loan, since that decision is ultimately up to your lender(s). We do guarantee, however, that your credit standing will be far more desirable to lenders than it was before you began your service with us. Also, based on historical data and research, we can recommend certain lenders to you based on how past clients have faired with similar credit as your own. Historically speaking, it is unusual for our clients to not qualify for some sort of loan or line of credit that they otherwise would not have been able to qualify for.
